Fig. 1 Mural Competition At Starhill (06/09/24) |
On the 6th of October there was a mural competition with the theme of "unity in diversity" that was held by Taylor's University in Starhill. I went there as a participant along with 7 of my friends to compete in said competition.
We made a mural regarding diversity that was united with music by drawing different kind of people with different race and traditions that were united in one party , dancing with the music. We had a lot of fun during the entire 2 hours of making our mural, we had mostly planned what we wanted to make during the previous days. The stress level was high as we had a vision that we had to complete within 2 hours and we were worried that we won't finish on time. In the end though, we were almost unable to finish on time and the result was complete just with a much more simpler and emptier background than was planned.
Unfortunately we were not the winners but I have seen the winner's mural and thought that the judgement was fair as the mural was really good. After the competition me and my friends just went ahead and have a little fun around starhill before going back home. Overall though we all had a good time even if we didn't win the competition.
