REFLECTION

• What have I learnt in this module?
I have learned the basic of design, design principles. I at first thought that something like this is not worth my time but as I learned each principles and apply it towards my artwork, the more I develop it the more I see why it is useful towards designs, which is to be able to make your design stands out while still not being too much too look at.

• What did I enjoy the most?
I enjoy developing task 3 the most as it was the most time consuming part yet the most fruitful part of the project in my opinion, as it allows me to apply the design principles that I have learned during the development of the task. The development of this task is also somewhat in my comfort zone compared to other task like task 1, hence why this was the part that I enjoyed the most.

• What did I not enjoy the most?
I did not enjoy the time that I spent to find the perfect artwork to post as an example of the design principles in task 1 as I wanted to be able to find a simple and easy to understand example so the people that view my blog will be able to understand easily what each design principles are. But because of that, I was really stressing out because I did not know the right keyword to use to find artwork with an obvious design principles but is still considered an interesting and unique artwork.

• What have I learnt about myself through this module?
So what I have learnt about myself through this module is that I tend to stress myself out for no reason and tend to do unnecessary work that doesn't really result me anything. I wanted to make the best artwork that I could do despite the limited time and with my bad time management, I spent nights before the feedback session just trying to fix my work and blog at the very last minute even though it was unnecessary. I didn't want to do anything wrong and are very scared of feedbacks even though it is good for me and my learning journey.

• What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
The most obvious change is of course the fact that I am more conscious of the design principles that is used on designs that we could find in our everyday life, for example when I was eating with my friends, I noticed that the drawing on the walls have design principles that is easily seen. The rest of me did not experience any changes though, I still am the me that have bad time management and bad sleep schedule.

• What are my aspirations?
I hope that one day I will have a good time management skills and I will also be able to hear feedbacks without getting scared of my wrongs. I hope that I can still remember and understand design principles in the future as they are very helpful to me in the current time and I think will be something that is also helpful to me in the future. I also hope that one day when I understand much more, I will return to this work and maybe rework it as I feel like it still has very many flaws that the current me is still unable to fix.
