REFLECTIVE WRITING

This project was definitely the longest and hardest task to make out of them all but it doesn't loses out on the fun of doing the task. I had some trial and errors that gave me a bad feeling about this task. The self titled project is something that I had to contemplate for a while before I make anything as it required me to think about what I want to express about myself. When I first tried to find an idea I was lost that I just write out whatever I was thinking of and in the end managed to write something that was based on my experience and what I've learned from said experience.

In the end to make this project come to life, I used most of what the lecturer had taught us, I used adjustment layers to boost the colors , I used quick selection tool to grab what I want from the pictures that I have taken, I also used what I have learned from the after effects exercise to animate the end results of my project. making this task took quite a lot of my knowledge, as I had to know which adjustment layers is best to use for certain things that I wanted to change. But other than that it was quite easy, thanks to the quick selection tool and magnetic lasso tool I was able to cut out pieces of the pictures that I wanted and make it seems really like a puzzle.

Animating the task is hard if not because of the exercise that was given to us before this task which was animating the fish poster that our lecturer made. It made me experiment the basic animation on after effects using opacity, scales, position and other options. I incorporated what I've learned from that to animate a simple animation in my self-titled poster to make it more interesting. For example by using position and hold shift while moving the pieces so that it moves in a straight line, this part was easy but took the longest as I had quite a lot of puzzle pieces that I needed to move around depending on it's position. But in the end, I quite like the result of the final project even if it was a little tiring to animate.
