25/09/2024-11/10/2024 / Week 1-Week 3 Carren Yeliandi / 0376990 Illustration & Visual Narrative  / Bachelors of Design in Creative Media / Taylor's University Task 1 - Vormator Challenge LECTURES Week 1     There was no lecture at week 1 so we basically had a free day that day. Week 2     At week 2, we were taught how to use a pen tool by using the Bezier Game which I took quite seriously and got a quite a high score in my opinion (52 extra nodes). After that we were taught how to use that pen tool to make the vormator shapes that we will use for task 1 which is the vormator challenge where we are only allowed to use certain type of shapes that has been given. We were also given some tips and tricks to make the shapes using other tool such as the ellipse tools and cursive pen. SUMMARY STARHILL - MURAL COMPETITION

Fig. 1 Mural Competition At Starhill (06/09/24)      On the 6th of October there was a mural competition with the theme of "unity in diversity" that was held by Taylor's University in Starhill. I went there as a participant along with 7 of my friends to compete in said competition.  We made a mural regarding diversity that was united with music by drawing different kind of people with different race and traditions that were united in one party , dancing with the music. We had a lot of fun during the entire 2 hours of making our mural, we had mostly planned what we wanted to make during the previous days. The stress level was high as we had a vision that we had to complete within 2 hours and we were worried that we won't finish on time. In the end though, we were almost unable to finish on time and the result was complete just with a much more simpler and emptier background than was planned.       Unfortunately we were not the winners but I have se...
