REFLECTIVE WRITING

I've learned quite a lot during the making of this project. I've never used photoshop before so I was a bit scared that I won't be able to do well in this subject. However, the lecture and explanation during the online meeting that Mr. Fauzi gave was very clear and I was able to follow through them. Starting from project 1(a) part 1 where we learned the basic of composition through the making of the physical collage.

Project 1(a) part 2 is where the use of photoshop started, I'll admit it was quite tricky to use the pen tool but nevertheless it was quite fun to do so I won't complain about it. The magic wand is a lifesaver for hard element with a plain white background so it's one of my favorite tool to use when I was making the digital collage. This part was also where we learned how to use the adjustment layer, this use of layer was really confusing as I doesn't really understand the difference but I learned as I go on.

Project 1 (b) part 1 is more or less the same as the previous project just a bit more use of adjustment layer than before. This part is also where I learned the existence of quick selection tool, which is now my new favorite tool.

Project 1b part 2 is basically coloring but more complex, not that complex though when you actually started to actually do it. The more you do it the more used to it and the more enjoyable it became. I already knew the existence of blending mode and the other tools used but I've never used it like this before so it's a welcomed experience.

At the end of it all, it's definitely quite an enjoyable experience. Though some of them is tiring and quite time-consuming, I find that I didn't mind it all that much. I also found that I quite like this module and it may have become one of my favorite so far. I might take the module again if given the choice and even if I can't it's definitely quite a memorable and pleasant learning experience throughout this whole entire module so far.
